A. — BIOL. Action par laquelle un être retrouve son intégrité. Synon. réfection, régénération. Les bras et la queue de ces animaux se reforment par rédintégration, et depuis sept ans, la queue du calmar de Bouguer a sans doute eu le temps de repousser (VERNE, Vingt mille lieues, t. 2, 1870, p. 210).
B. — CHIM. Rétablissement d'un état d'équilibre. Or, les liaisons électro-chimiques, hétéro-polaires ou homo-polaires, se ramènent à une « tendance à la redintégration » ou à la « reconstitution d'un type ». L'ion Na, électro-positif par perte d'un électron, attire l'ion C1, électro-négatif par gain d'un électron (RUYER, Cybern., 1954, p. 172).
♦ Rédintégration des cristaux. Réparation, dans une eau mère, des troncatures faites aux angles des cristaux. (Dict. XXe s.).
C. — PSYCHOL. Phénomène mnémonique caractérisé par la reconstitution intégrale d'un état psychologique antérieur quand l'un des éléments vient à réapparaître dans la conscience. Loi, processus de redintégration. La redintégration à partir du fragment évocateur ne s'opère pas en « jeu de domino » comme on le croyait autrefois, mais par aperception d'un sens ou d'une expressivité (RUYER, Cybern., 1954, p. 171).
